Attorney Profiles - Melanie Corbin Rice

Ms. Rice has been an Associate with the law firm of Nichols Zauzig Sandler P.C., since 2003. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Towson State University in 1995 and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in 2001. She was admitted to practice in Virginia in October of 2001, and practices in the field of domestic relations law. Prior to joining NZS, Ms. Rice was an attorney with Rappahannock Legal Services in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Her practice includes the jurisdictions of Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Prince William, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and the City of Fredericksburg.

Ms. Rice is currently a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Prince William County Bar Association, and the Fredricksburg Area Bar Association. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence since June 2002, serving as co-Secretary since October 2003. A well-rounded individual, Ms. Rice continues to teach dance in the areas of ballet, tap and jazz.
