Attorney Profiles - Olaun A. Simmons

Mr. Simmons has been an associate with Nichols Zauzig Sandler P.C. since January 2006. His primary area of practice is criminal litigation, including traffic cases, misdemeanors, felonies and appeals, and post conviction remedies. His practice includes the jurisdictions of Prince William County, Stafford County, City of Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania County, Fairfax County, City of Alexandria and City of Fredericksburg. 

Mr. Simmons received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, cum laude, from Morehouse College in 1996. He received his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State College of Law in 2000. While in law school, he was a member of The Ohio State College of Law National Jury Trial Team. Prior to joining Nichols Zauzig Sandler P.C. he worked as an associate with a criminal litigation firm in Richmond, Virginia.

Mr. Simmons is the Young Lawyers’ Division Liason to the Criminal Law Section of the Virginia Bar Association, a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the Prince William County Bar Association.

Mr. Simmons was admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the United State District Court for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
